Key Developmental Approaches

Years of experience in working with kids on the autism spectrum, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, and other developmental diagnoses, brought Joy Center founder, Amy Zier, to discover the most effective approaches to support children that may have developmental risk.

In looking at the development we know that sensory, motor, language, social, and emotional components are closely related and entwined. Therefore, to truly look at a child holistically, and make a difference, the approach must take all of these components into consideration.

Our primary focus when supporting children with differences is in strengthening the basic foundational skills for development.

Giving children and families the tools needed for kids to be well adjusted and successful in a variety of settings is our goal.
